LIVING DEATH

The fear of and fascination of death is probably what drives most ideologies and ironically causes many deaths due to radicalism on what it's all about. I think facing death and accepting it as a part our existence is extremely important for us to come to some real appreciation of NOW. At the end of the spectrum, the closest relative to death is life. Embracing this curiosity and breaking my own fear of death has been an ongoing pursuit through my art. Not that I kill to create, but that I am honest about portraying it when it shows itself to me. I portray death not to gross out or to exploit, but to appreciate that being and that being's lasting impression still upon us.
